This is the Ralphs fresh Fair which is their upscale version of Ralphs with the huge deli department lot of fresh fish this store is huge in fact almost too big it is separated in a manner that makes it a bit difficult if you're not familiar with the store. I visit the stores in Palm Springs but I am staying in San Diego for a couple of weeks and wanted to go to Ralph's. It was very similar to our house and the way the aisles were laid out but has so much more to offer the produce section is absolutely huge so it is a good place to shop but make sure you give yourself plenty of time so that you don't get rushed and have an opportunity to get everything you need

Never enough cashiers to handle the number of customers. There are "always" long, long lines to check out. Expect to spend a lot of time waiting in line....unless you go next door to Trader Joe's, then you're always served immediately.

The store is well organized but the staff really makes the store SUPERB. They have always given me excellent, kind, and friendly service as well as have been willing to go the extra mile to be even more helpful!

Terrible service, at least at 10pm. One register open despite 4 or 5 employees in the periphery of the store chit chatting. Couldn't get anybody to help me find an item. Got tired of waiting for checkout and used self checkout, only to find out at the end of the transaction that it needed store approval. Waited for assistance but no one was there to help. $300 worth of items I had to move to the one register that was open. As I was paying Felix finally showed up to the self checkout. Never returning here. Cashier was also rude. I had to ask him three times to please help me bag my groceries before he finally did. I was fuming, but who wouldn't. Used to be a good store when I shopped it back in LA. But now all I can say is Ralphs sucks!
