We were referred for a tax person, by our neighbors. But when we called them to make an appointment, found out, they were booked till June. Looked around and figured why not try JH. Gave them a call, told them which days and time would worked for us, and got an appoint for two weeks from that date. Our tax preparer was Kathy, who was wonderful. Brought in everything we thought we would need, she sorted through them and got our stuff done in about an hour. Of course that's when the spouse says, we're missing a W2. Long story short, went home found the W2, and came back to drop it off an hour later. The tentative plan was to have Kathy update and finish our taxes. Then come back, at a later date, to sign the paper. Instead, she gets everything done, same day. Can't tell you how much we appreciated that, saving us time, money, and not having to deal with a pile of paperwork.

I've always done my own taxes but with increasing complexity in tax situation that I felt was out of my capabilities, I decided to follow my spouse and use a preparation service. The first 2 years with JH was a bit of nightmare with errors made which led to amended taxes, with one year delaying my federal refund. For 2019 and 2020 filing years, we had Kathy. She is quite the character but she's personable and knowledgeable, gets the job done correctly, and helps us file the smartest way for our situation. She also keeps our filing affordable (relatively speaking). JH shouldn't lose her.

Kathy is great! This is the second year we’ve had her do our taxes and we’ll definitely be back again next year! She’s very efficient, informative, and so sweet! We definitely recommend having your taxes done by Kathy at Jackson Hewitt in Beaverton! :)

Kathy Boutilier was wonderful. I had my tax forms prepared quickly and efficiently and got a great return. I have already referred friends to her. I know Kathy will take good care of them now and in the future. Thanks, Kathy!
