Been here a bunch of times with no issue. Great food. This time I went and the lady did not write our order down. 2 of our orders where wrong so I had to order two burritos for my son so he had enough food. My wife’s order was wrong also. Wife ordered guacamole and got avocados. I Asked for salsa 3 times and never got it. Hopefully pen and paper is used next time. I enjoy this restaurant. This time around not so much.

We are repeat diners at Tlaquepaque and our experience has been positive nearly every time. The owners have brought an incredibly authentic menu of Mexican fare to Zanesville. You can expect to find the staples that you are accustomed to seeing at Mexican eateries, but you should also treat yourself and try some of the truly traditional offerings. A highlight is the Chile Relleno, a cheese-stuffed chili that has been fire roasted. While we can talk about the selection of food, it is important that I mention the absolute quality of the meals. I have heard it said that “Mexican restaurants all have the same thing”. While it is true the dishes comprise many of the same components, the excellence of the food sets them apart. It is apparent that the owners take this as a point of pride. Each meal comes with, what I consider to be, the best salsa around and a basket of house-made tortilla chips. Another recommended appetizer to kick off the meal is Queso Fundito – a blend of warm melted cheese loaded with spicy chorizo. The steak, chicken, or combo fajitas are second to none. For us, they are the best that you can get and come recommended! The restaurant is always impeccably clean when we visit, and the wait staff and owners are hard-working and genuinely happy to have you there. All of these combine to make Tlaquepaque our favorite Latin food “go to”. ¡Disfrute de su comida!
