Positive: Great old school hotel w/good amenities. Perfect Contractor spot, and no issues. Outside entry, park in front of your room, and quiet. Negative: Absolutely no faults found here. If you're expecting New Overpriced multi-floor, fancy stuff...go there and save this hotel for me. ;-)

Today, Simone in the community had a house fire. Galion FD was great. Responded quickly and got everything taken care of. Two nice gentlemen from Red Cross came out. They gave them a card with funds for immediate needs. They called two of the places in town to stay. The Hometown Inn told her $310 for a week. So, my mom goes to get a room for them. The guy tells her the same thing. She hands him the card from the Red Cross. He then told her Oh no, since it is Red Cross it is $510 a week! (She didn't pay it) Basically everything on that card. I'm totally flabbergasted. How can they do that? Not only business wise. To me it is predatory. But also ethnically? I just dont even know what to think.
