I was a member for several years, there are some great people but I had always had an unsettling feeling that I could never put my finger on at first. The people seem very friendly on the surface but in reality are not accepting at all of real sinners from the community. If you come as you are at this church, you will be judged! My biggest concern came when I was actively told on several occasions, in multiple Bible studies, by several church leaders, and even the lead Pastor, that on certain points in the Bible you have to take a different meaning than what is written. Basically, picking which parts of the Bible they want to believe and trying to convince you not to look at the rest. John 7:17 If any man do his [God's] will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of god... This is exactly what Jesus warned us about, the blind leading the blind. This is a false church leading thousands away from the true Jesus with false teachings on critical points of the Bible. This is not to say that there are not some true believers there but generally speaking this is a church that is more worried about outward appearances than the truth. Nuff said.

Sun City Church has done so much for me in ways I could never repay or say enough to express the amount of gratitude I have for their actions towards me. Never in my life have I found a place to call home that drives me to fight for the community and for all the people there I can call my family. I was so use to a life of independence that I never really felt like I understood the true beauty of being involved and welcomed with loving arms until last year. This is a place where the Holy Spirit dwells and guides people to feel like they belong and can find purpose. I highly recommend that people come to this church to have the chance of experiencing what I have and even more.

The people here are very friendly. I love that they are lead by the holy Spirit, there is a light that shines through them that cannot be mistaken for anything else other than the Lord shining in and through. The pastor and his wife share the podium, the word of God speaks through them. It has taken me three years to find a church here in Spokane Valley. They have amazing outreach programs. I highly recommend this congregation for those who are looking for a spirit filled community 🥰
