If I could give a 0 I would. Overall we had an extremely disappointing experience with this store. Today I purchased a product that was over $1000. I had a conversation with the employee about the warranty on the product and they told me they honored the companies and it was a 12 month warranty. We took the product home and realized it was defective, it wouldn’t even turn on the battery was faulty. So not even 3 hours later we took it back to the store and tried to exchange it for a new one. (We called in advance and explaining the situation, they said they have been having issues with them lately and said to bring it in) Then when we took it to the register, Owen (manager?) said he will not exchange it nor return it because the company doesn’t reimburse the store, and then said if we wanted help we need to take it up with the company. He said he would not return it because we already told him it was faulty. Then wished us luck with the company. So in summary… In a matter of 3 hours we spend over $1000 on a product from this store that was faulty and they did absolutely nothing about it. They did not care about the customers experience at all, and left us empty handed with an extremely expensive faulty product that we now have to deal with.

I was extremely pleased with Tri-State Outfitters. Walking into this store took me back 30 years to when service and selection were better. I will be back.

This is more than a sporting goods store. One end is housewares with dishes, kitchen accessories, decor, brewing and more. They have a large variety of clothes for women and men, nice brands like Columbia and Kuhl, and the best selection of running shoes, sports sandals, etc. I drive up from Lewiston to get my Brooks and Tevas. This is a store that my husband and I both enjoy shopping in!

The staff was great! They went out of their way to be helpful. I needed a box or bag for the ukulele my brother just bought me and a staff member went and tracked one down while we waited at the register. Awesome!!
