Just another rich, greedy, mega church, that is building a real estate empire, while taking advantage of their special tax breaks as a church. Not interested in a church that wants to be a real estate mogul off of the backs of those that pay full taxes. Taking from the poor to get rich is hardly a Biblical principle, they will ruin the Corbin Park Neighborhood with their greed and their non Biblical beliefs. While there are homeless, those that struggle to pay their rent, mortgage or property taxes, this church is profiting off their special rights as a non profit, church, to not pay taxes, while using city services, what happens is, the rest of the community will pick up the tab. Matthew 21:12-13 Matthew 19:24 Matthew 19:21

Faith Bible has a lot to offer an individual. This is coming from a single man, so keep that in mind. I haven't taken advantage of all what they offer, such as small groups, ministries, etc. But from what I have experienced, this church is great. Biblically sound, which is of upmost importance for any follower of Christ. But the pastor and elders are great, the sermons keep you engaged, the music is wonderful. My favorite part of service apart from the message is the songs we sing to the LORD. They don't always do this, but sometimes they'll stop playing the instruments and let our voices unite as one, being lifted up as a sweet aroma to our God. You can definitely feel the Spirit of God there. There are all sorts of ages present here, from toddler to elderly. Not very diverse in color, but definitely diverse in languages; Russian, German, English, etc. If you're Christ's, this feels like family. It took me a while to like this place because it is bigger than my previous church which was super small. But give it time and the size won't really matter. Like with any gatherings, you have to be the one to approach people and start relationships. Honestly, that's probably the only downside to larger churches such as Faith Bible. But once you get going with someone, you'll have a delightful conversation. I think I've answered everything I could?

This church is my home church and the people are my family! I love FBC! I came here after going to many churches in town but never had both solid bible teaching and solid community until I came here. I joined the Post College Group (so great since I was just too old to be in a college group and too young to try to fit in with older adults), got married and jumped into life in the church. If you are looking for a church, I hope you give Faith Bible Church a try! You will find a lot more than good Bible teaching on Sunday mornings (but not less!).

This is the most welcoming church I have ever been too! They are absolutely committed to making disciples and sharing the gospel. Doctrinally sound and faithful to preaching the Word of God. Several opportunities to serve and get plugged into fellowship. Even the music is carefully selected to glorify God.

Does this church do the whole talking in Tongues thing?

Hi Katie! I've been attending FBC for about four years and it's my understanding that the church holds the belief that ecstatic utterance (or "glossolalia") is not a Biblical sign gift. I believe the answer to your question is no; the only "tongue" we tend to talk in is English typically.
