Great selection of fabrics, trims, and ribbon. Everything is a final sale. They will not let you return anything; they don't care and walk away from you. I hate that, but it's their rules. I just needed a smaller rhinestone button because the one I purchased the day before from them was too big for my project. Lesson learned! Bring your project with you so you don't make that same mistake I did! The final sale sign should be next to the register!

Its the best place to go in S. Cal for a good fabric selection without driving to LA to go to the fabric district. It is a place you go for the selection and hard to find fabrics or fabrics out of print. You don't go here for happy smiling staff or staff to help inspire you, give you tips or hold your hand to help you find things. The staff there all are too busy for that kind of service some people may be expecting from small quilting shops and big box craft stores. So go knowing this is one of your best bets for quality quilting fabrics, specialty, sports and apparel fabrics and a little better than average prices with a good sized remnant section. They do tend to do a storewide sale twice a yr, but other than that they don't do sales. Also look over the fabric before you have them cut it, sometimes you will come across flaws, stains or sun fading that you may have to work around when working on your pattern.

This place was off the chain!!! So so many fabrics and notions... A true one stop shop. Perfect just to browse and feel everything when you're new to sewing and fabrics. Helpful staff although it's hard to pick them out, lol. Regular clothes and no name tags... I was afraid to be "that person" that asks a regular non employee "hi do you work here?!" So I let my feelers do the work and figured who was buzzing about and she'd for help 🤣🤣🤣 It's so big. Big. And there's an entire backroom of more knits and stretchy and specialty fabric... It's TIGHT back there. Physically. You can barely maneuver around with the cart. I saw people going in and out of there but it wasn't until I asked that I realized it was additional floor space and fabrics to choose from. All worth it!!! I loved it. Went on my lunch break.. definitely need more time. If you shop online you'll find these fabrics generally beat say, fabric.com prices. But not in the sport teams the fabrics. Overall most fabrics were under $6 a yard. With a bargain wall of deeply discounted ones.
Life's Good
Plenty of parking with handicap spaces, observing social distancing👍 employees very polite and helpful. I was disappointed the website showed prices much much lower😲!! Yes there were fabrics priced @ $3.99 off to the left & at the back of the shop but not the new beautiful prints. The beautiful fabrics I liked were $10 to $13 a yard, with a minimum 1 yd buy. all cuts must be an increments of 1 yd !! If visiting California I would definitely pop in again 👍👍

They have every thing I love the store, save me a trip to LOS ANGELES BUT I LOVE THE GARMENT AN FABRIC DISTRIC.
Have not seen any beach fleece
i wish was my business but I customer too and What I recommend for you because it was what I was doing in Mexico Bridal Dresses I bought 1/2 yard of lace embroidered with shiny stones and cut them but make sure to seal where the thread is cut so that the other shiny stones are not stripped. I hope this help you and sometimes you save money this way... nic
Yes
they have big selection
As Elaine Fontes shared they carry a good selection of lace. Another choice to look for lace is in Long Beach at Fabric Barn. Good luck!
They do have some Disney character fabrics. Not sure about Frozen but since it is popular I bet they have it.
Flat fold saves space for them, and it saves money for us.
They have sequin material, but i don't know if it is reversible. The other side is a clean satiny fabric from what i remember.
If they don't have it here than you would probably have trouble finding it elsewhere.
As of last Sunday, they had a few- I don’t think the entire collection
Yes, but they're limited on what they have.
yes they do. They pretty much have every theme of fabric in woven fabric if you are looking for southwest themed fabric for quilting or panels. Some of which are even out of print.
Not sure, but it's a old great fabric store.
They have fabric for just about any DIY project you're working on.
I have never seen felt there. Jenny's, the sister store, may have it. It is on the southwest corner of Warner & Magnolia.
All sales are final
Yes we do!

Hmmmm... I don't know if they do. You'd have to call. They don't have a big supply of long arm rulers. I am sure they would have a thread that would work though.
I have seen it there but if it is there or not... You should go see or call. I don't find visiting a fabric store a problem.
I only purchased cottons.
That i wouldn't know sorry.
Do you mean velvet, spandex, and other see thru fabrics that you would find in a Vegas show or you looking for quilting fabrics that are Vegas themed? I have seen both at M&L.
No fat quarters sold. This is a huge and fabulous fabric store. Incredible selection of quality quilt cottons. Prices are very good. Nice staff and helpful. They have a 2nd smaller store called Jenny's Fabric. Enjoy... 💖
Yes
Stock is always changing.
Once the fabric is cut, there's no returning. Pretty much the same at every fabric store.
I'm pretty sure I saw some of the Unbridled line last time I was there. They carry a lot of Timeless Treasures, they are SO pretty. They have LOTS of other horse-themed fabrics, as well. You might see something you like that is less pricey. If you're set on an exact design, maker, or color, it's best to call. If you're patient & don't call at their busiest times, they usually go out of their way to help. They're having their annual sale until 7/15/18. An extra 20% off your entire order! Love this place.
No sorry
No
The have all kinds of products. I'm sure they do but I would call just to be sure
Also in the back right corner
They have a huge range of prices well worth the trip. Be ready to spend a lot of time looking if you love fabric.
Yes...they various prices...some regular price...some discounted at about $5.98 y...and some flat folds for $2.98.
Yes
Yes, they have pretty much everything
Did you try Joann's? If you live near Los Angeles... the garment district has fabric vendors.
Not sure but you could call.
You may be better off checking in the garment district in LA for twill. This is southern California & not much demand for twill here because of the weather.
Yes they do
They have dance wear fabrics, including many lycra blends and power mesh fabrics inside the front left corner of the store!
I doubt it. As with any fabric store, why would they let you return it after you had it cut especially per your request..
Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm Saturdays 10am to 6pm Sunday 12pm to 5pm
No but they carry a lot of designer fabric that can be purchased at online stores. Try fabric dot com.
