I’m mostly reviewing the Stumptown swing that happens every Sunday evening. You can show up for a lesson at 7:30, and open dance starts at 8:00. It’s a $10 entrance fee, and then you get to dance the night away! You’ll mostly get east coast swing dancers, with some lindy and blues thrown in for fun.

Nice place, only wish there was better access to parking.

Me and my partner did the intro to west coast swing class. It was super fun, well will definitely be back.

Hi Jack, Is this a question you wish an answer to still? The lodge has not had any events during the pandemic, although we will begin having in person meetings with the early December 2021 general meeting. We hope to get back to having public events in 2022, as more people are vaccinated and hopefully the pandemic wanes.
I guess I would say "define safe". In the evenings and on weekends, the lot behind the building is available for parking and otherwise, there's usually plenty of parking within a block. Generally anyone in the building will be willing to walk someone to their car if they were concerned for their safety. There's not a lot of foot traffic through the area at night, so that might make some folks a little nervous. A bus regularly goes down Couch St. and Burnside is only a block away.
Yes. It's open to the general public.
Yes, but not obviously--there's an employee operated elevator.
Norse Hall does not at this time offer craft classes nor are any planned following the return to the hall once the pandemic abates. (Hopefully soon.)
