I love working with the residents, their families, and all the staff here. I recently moved my Father into Assisted Living at Avamere. The whole staff made the transition very smooth. We got a lot of personal attention from Kevin, who has walked us through every step. The move was much easier than I expected, and although it hasn't been too long, my Dad seems to be enjoying his new surroundings and the care he is receiving.

All of the staff at Avamere has been very helpful in the process of moving my father from his home to assisted living. And assisting him to feel welcome and comfortable. The direct care staff have been caring and compassionate. I have not met all of them and would mention them all by name if I had. I would like to thank in particular Devon, Keely, and Rosy. Also, Jordan who works in activities who takes time to visit with my father from time to time.

It varies depending on the size of room and the level of care needed. Independent living is much less expensive than the assisted side. My sister in law was paying about $3000 per month rent, which included, housekeeping once a week, 1 meal a day and social activities. She is now on the assisted side which is costing a lot more due to her significant care needs. The price goes up every year, of course. All that said, she is very pleased with her care and it has taken a big burden off of me.
I would give Avamere a call and talk with their director. We were there as an assisted living resident. They were absolutely awsome to work with.
