Tried this place for the first time recently. Service was great. Being a family with young children, we are a server's worst nightmare. Our kids are well behaved, but there's always gonna be something. This time it was a full Shirley Temple spilled all over them and their both seat. The servers were a great help. This is still only a 4 star review because I think they can improve a few things with the food. My prime rib was OK and reasonably priced. The cut was too lean even for an inexpensive prime rib and the horseradish cream sauce was not good. My steamed spiced shrimp were served cold - that's a first in about 150 times. But we dig the hometown vibe there and will be back soon, for sure!

This is a great place in Olney for a wide array of food. Not everything is great but they do have fresh fish which always seems to hit the mark. We recently came here for a quick bite. We weren’t super hungry so we shared some chicken wings and onion rings. The chicken wings here are very good, I highly recommend them, especially the old bay dry rub! My daughter got the plain pasta and I got a salad with Blue Cheese dressing. The dressing was a bit disappointing, didn’t have much of a taste so I got some of their peppercorn ranch which was much better. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice, overall a good spot if you are not quite sure what you want to eat.

Just left the Olney Grille. It has been our got-to for so many years. The food is awesome (great fresh fish, oysters on the half-shell!, daily specials) and the service is exemplary. So comfortable and a great place to dine and chill. Can't say enough good things about our home place.

I ordered the crab bisque which was delicious. The fried oysters were really good as well. The Cesar salad was very fresh and crisp. The loaded baked potato wasn’t really loaded and was pretty small. I had to use my own sour cream for the potatoes because what they sent seemed to be sour. Which is why I gave 3 stars ⭐️

Hi Susan, we're a mile and a half away from the theater. We've had the pleasure of serving plenty of theater goers, and hope we have the opportunity to serve you too. Please check our menu out online, I'm sure we have something everyone in your party would enjoy. Thanks for your consideration, and we hope to see you soon. Tim p.s.-In the event it's your first time to the Olney Theater, I can tell you it's a wonderful place to see a show. The productions, sound, and sight lines are all great.
Hi Barbara! You can find out menu online on our restaurant's website, www.olneygrille.com. We do not have fried shrimp, however we do offer Bayou Shrimp and Spice Shrimp Appetizers. Our Bayou Shrimp comes with French Bread and a sauce of beer, butter, and various spices, and our Spice Shrimp is served shelled with a side of cocktail sauce.
There isn't a separate gluten-free menu I'm aware of, but there are gluten free selections on the regular menu
