Came in to Clayton's Auto Repair & Service for an oil change. I really liked their initial welcoming, they have coffee available and sodas for purchase while you wait for your vehicle in their waiting area, I believe that they also offer shuttle service, but you have to be with in a certain mileage from the shop. It's also very important to note that Claytons offers an extensive auto inspection, which I think is important, because they can save you some money if they find certain issues in your vehicle that you many not know about. Will certainly be going back for future automobile repairs.

Been around forever. My family always used them for vehicle repairs. Always honest and fair. Something you don't find anymore at bigger auto repair places. Could be a bit of a wait tho. They are quite popular. I take that as a good sign tho. Trusted by lots of people.

Zachary, Currently there is no smog certification needed for Oregon, and as such, we do not offer smog testing. If you are trying to test your vehicle for registration with another state, such as California, you would need to take your vehicle to a California certified smog station. Not knowing the history it's a possibility the transmission may be compromised from water intrusion. It's possible that performing a complete transmission fluid exchange with a cleaner and conditioner can help resolve the issue, but if the transmission has already been damaged it can also accelerate the failure as well. One other issue noted may be a restricted transmission cooler in the radiator, they are known to cause issues. A thorough analysis may be required to determine if transmission will require replacement.
