Very interesting place, friendly, and educational. Beautiful inside and outside. Go at night time between 9 to midnight is the best.

Although we were there too early to go inside, we actually walked around the grounds. Very cool human sundial, paved walk way around the whole building. We will come back for sure to do the shows.

I may be biased, cause I do love astronomy, but awesome place. The people running the place are knowledgeable and passionate about the topic and keeping that place going.

Yes you do. The guy that runs it will let anyone that would like to go up there and look in it. He also has another telescope outside that he aims towards Saturn and you can look at that one as well and it's so awesome.
Yes
They are currently restoring and adding to the exiting telescope platform and will follow that work with an additional telescope. The first phase should be complete soon. I would be looking to late this year.
Closed and being prepared for demolition, yes. We are performing observatory programs at the nearby Maryhill Stonehenge memorial until the new facility is completed in mid to late 2019. Please check our website for updates. Thanks for thinking of us.
