Wouldnt You Like To Know

Stopped in here today for the first time. Lost $2.50 on the washer because it wouldn't keep track of the coins I had already put in. Went to find d the woman who took care of the place out back. She was no where in sight but her grand daughter told me she had just left to pick up a friend and then they were stopping at a bar for a few beers. Will never go back!!!! On top of that place was a joke as in FILTHY.

I just witnessed the most unprofessional behavior by an employee I have ever seen. A woman had just loaded and started her dryer and was questioning another person about her dry time. Apparently she didn't realize that the price for drying had gone from 5 minutes for .25 to 3 minutes for .25. The attendant (a slight older lady) arrived and although I didn't hear the entire exchange, the attendant got in the face of the woman and was belittling and threatening her for questioning the dry time. The woman told the attendant to back away and instead the attendant came within inches of the woman's face, continuing to threaten her. The attendant then forced the woman to take her wet clothes and leave. The woman complied. As a manager I have witnessed some pretty bad behavior from employees but nothing like this. Had this person worked for me they would have been fired on the spot and escorted from the premises. An employee threatening a customer is never okay, in any business. I hope the owner/manager of this business reads these reviews. This employee is not a good representative of their business. They have a serious behavior issue with this employee.

We are traveling and are in Florence at a campground for a bit. There are 2 laundromats in town so I checked the reviews. We decided to come here and were quite pleased! The place is clean, the machines were all in working order, Joanne was attentive to customers and the facility, which was very homey!. We also took advantage of the showers and were happy with how clean they were as well. We would definitely come back if we were to be here again!

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about on this establishment.  Based on the reviews I would have gone somewhere else,  but this place is about the only game in town.  So, we went. Four washers out of a total of  25 were not working. All of the dryers were working. The dryers dry fast, and we experienced none of the problems reported on other reviews. Cleanliness and tideness was about average for a laundromat. No complaints. There is a large dog and a cat that have free roaming privileges.  They don't pester anyone.  They belong to the owner. When we arrived at Monday at 10:30 A.M. all of the dryers were in use and only four washers were available. It seemed that the owner had several of the machines tied up as she does laundering. Change machine on site along with a detergent vending machine. Here's a breakdown on the machines: 6 top loaders, 2 out of order, $2.50 30 lb triple loaders: 10, 2 out of order, $5.75 20 lb. double loaders: 6, $3.50, all working 50 lb washers, 2,  $8, both working Big Bertha $9.50 - for mega loads and big bulky items 18 dryers, all working .25 for five minutes.
