Went here on a foggy rainy day in December with my little family. It was hightide so there wasn't much exploring, but still an amazing place to enjoy! Will definitely go back on a clearer day!

As of September 6th, 2021 this beach has millions of dead jellyfish all over it. Kind of gross, but also kind of interesting if you've never seen something like that. Otherwise the beach has a short trail down from the parking area which is not too tough except for the beach end of it which has some scrambling to do to get down. Portions of the beach are covered in a maze of rock formations about 5 to 15 ft in height which are interesting to explore. The scenic road bridge can also be seen from the beach, as can Captain Cook point. No restrooms at the Neptune North end of the beach, at least. Lovely beautiful beach with characters. Long stretch with some big rocks and a creek. The ocean water is cold but the creek is not. It's a perfect beach to enjoy both! Fine soft sand to walk on.
