Highly recommend this place. Great draft and can options, and great service. As visitors to the area, we got to try a number of local breweries and focus our in-person visits to our favorites.

Hate to leave bad reviews but we were really taken back by this place. We visited on a Friday, and it was pretty quiet. Wanted to get a flight, but was told immediately that they 'don't do flights' despite us having seen pictures online of flights and seeing the materials for flights right in front of us behind the bar. No biggie, though. What really bothered us was that we sat at the bar (we were 2/3 people at the bar) and the bartender did not offer to check us out once we were done, so we went to the register (again, no biggie). He came over, cracked a joke about the price of cases of beer and then took/swiped my fiance's card without telling us the price, then turned the iPad around to see a $170 bill for 2 beers we got. He had mistaken us for someone else buying 8 cases of beer, apparently (did he not get a good look at us while we were sitting right in front of him at the bar for 30 mins?). But instead of apologizing and refunding us immediately, he checked us out on the handheld device for our drinks and said take care. We were halfway back to the hotel when we realized he actually DID charge us $170 without refunding it. We went back right away, and he did refund us, saying 'Oh, did I do that? Sorry. Cheers'... but what if we didn't double check the bank account? Really unprofessional and not a good way to start our first night of vacation. I don't know if he was drunk or just having a rough night but that could've been a VERY costly mistake and at least warranted a genuine apology.

Fantastic spot to grab/try some local craft beer. I stop by here multiple times a week to stock up on local brews. Highly recommend checking the Portland Beer Hub out if your in the business of buying the best beer Maine/Northeast has to offer. Also, they have a friendly staff which are all more than happy to answer any questions you may have. 10/10 for local beer selection

Stopped by here during lunch and didn't get a tasting but will definitely be back for an after work hours tasting of the many selections of local & from away beer! Great atmosphere! The bar tender/clerk was very friendly and welcoming. This place is basically a small beer pub and a convenice store that sell beer (and a very small selection of wine). It is located on the corner of Fore Street and Pearl. If you can't find parking on the street there's a parking garage diagonally across the street on Pearl Street. Definitely going back and making a strong recommendation to give this unique beer pub/store a try...bottoms up!

Hi there! We have outdoor seating available as well as limited seating indoors. Masks are required to enter, and must also be worn when a beer is not in your face if you're sitting with a drink. Surfaces are cleaned regularly and sanitizer is available on the tables for customers. We also ask that when looking at the beer in the coolers that you only touch things you intend to buy. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Lots of local Maine beers are available on tap and for sale. Most are from the smaller microbreweries.
