I called to find out if a FNP was accepting new patients as my husband and I are looking for a new primary care. Well first call, I sat on hold for 10 minutes, then decided to take the option of leaving my number for them to call me back. A nice girl called me back about an hour later. I told her what I was inquiring about and she said oh I can't don't know who is taking new patients from here, I can transfer you to the department that does scheduling for new patients first visits, etc. So she puts me on hold and quickly the phone rings....and rings and rings and then another answering machine wanting me to leave a message and they would call me back! WHAT???? What the heck is going on in the medical industry??? You can't talk to anyone that actually knows what is going on in the practice? What if I needed to ask my doctor a question? Would it take months to get an answer? This is absolutely rediculous! And UNACCEPTABLE. I have read other reviews stating the same, that it was impossible to get an appointment or to get anyone to answer the phone. Sometimes, technology ISN'T better. Sometimes having a respectionist sitting there actually answering calls, and getting answers is better than big supposedly "cheaper" call centers taking calls when they don't even know anything about the practice they are taking calls for! I thought better of CMMC than this! I guess I will be looking for a doctor that is affiliated with Mercy.

Went through about 4 pcps in a year and a half, they keep quitting or something, not a good sign. Every appointment I've had in that time was introductory and we can never get on the same page. One of them, despite knowing I was an alcoholic at the time prescribed me a contradictory antibiotic that could have made me seriously ill. They don't seem to have a great understanding of medicine. Also, every pcp I've had tries to push prozac for some reason, seems to be their cure all for what they beleive is hypochondria or anxiety instead of properly investigating the issue. I've given up on this branch and will just have to deal with my medical issues without proper treatment.

Tried to set up a physical and my doctor wasnt there anymore so they had me call back to talk to someone else about it. Called back and asked a question about another issue and was transferred and waited over a half hour until I had to hang up and get back to work but called back to get in line to receive another callback from them... heard from them an hour later. This lady was actually kinda nice she tried to help but couldn't schedule me so she had to put me back in for another callback. This was all at 7am then 8am then again at 10:45 am Monday. Then otw home from work i called them and explaining i was waiting on a callback they said they tried to call at 3:30 but I didn't have a missed call idk maybe they did thats great. But the lady on the line couldn't schedule me so I'd have to call back. I decided to wait and look into another doctors office but apparently just about every where is owned by midcoast so I guess I'm s.o.l. Then I received a call a few minutes ago now being Thursday saying Lisa wanted her to call me to set up an appt. I believe that's the new doctor I'll be assigned (their words) and the receptionist asked if any days were better than another I told her wed and Thurs work best for me but if there's somethin else I can make it work and she comes back to me with January 2022... do you not make any money off checkups or somthing? Lord dear Jesus the times have changed.

If I could give them a zero, I would. We've gone here for about eight years. We've seen lots of good nurse practitioners and doctors leave because overall the office experience is so awful. Needed conjunctivitis eye drops for my young son and was left calling back for two days straight without any help. No doctor is worth the pain and stress of this office. Go anywhere else.

Doctors are generally able (occasionally required) to see out of network patients. Unless you are having an emergency- IF SO, CALL 9¹¹- there's some exceptions to having the right to be seen though, so don't act obnoxious; don't try to get help getting high; don't attempt to destroy Dr. Do-Good's religious imperatives; and above all, DO NOT become OR marry a malpractice attorney. Basically just don't drink or curse or sue, or be legally one with those who do. And negotiate cash payments.
That depends on a lot of factors not provided in the question: age, weight (standard AND metric), current medications... Generally though, the answer is "more". And then, eventually, "less".
Hi Valerie, The practice is open: Monday & Tuesday: 7am - 5pm Wednesday & Thursday: 7:20am - 5pm Friday: 8am - 5pm Saturday hours by appointment only
Is this what I have to look forward to if I ever find Waldo?
