The terrific folks at the church manage an active food pantry supplied by local stores. We deliver food from the Rising Tide Market in Damariscotta every Thursday morning. The people are warm and friendly, working hard to help their community through tough times, very neighbourly, the way Mainers are....and the way life should be!

Isn't May too early for the Strawberry Festival? You usually have it near the end of June so you can pick the local strawberries.

One site I checked gave the date in May which I believe was too early as well another site upon further investigation lists it as June 30th

As far as I know you can drop them off anytime there is a donation door by the dumpster and you just open that up and and you can put them in there
