I love that place...very 'kept up', as tidy as a 'transfer station' can be~ I like, as a Senior, Navy..Lady Veteran..that, if needed, help is always available to lift bags o' leaves, etc... I thank you~ ⚓

Went to the Wiscasset Transfer Station today. Website said; "OPEN"! I arrived and it was closed! Several cars had to turn around! No sign posted! Came home and checked website again. Website says; "OPEN"! Thank you very much! CHANGE YOUR HOURS ONLINE AS WELL !!!!!!!!!!

Open at least in the morning. They might be closing early. Definitely closed on Jan. 1

More then likely you will have to have a truck or trailer. Also its lincoln county recycling that has the compost. I didn't see any sign that said delivery available.
Yes you do need a sticker on your windshield. Just go in office there, tell them you moved there. They will get your plate # then put one one. No charge.
