I thought Maine was big into helping to prevent Domestic Violence?? I went to one police station for help and was just brushed off with a phone number to OCS. So I called, and after speaking on the phone to 2 different officers I am exactly where I was prior to trying to get their help. Shouldn't they at least have information of where I can go for help?

Hi Don. As far as the sheriffs office, there are no forms for you to complete or restrictions on your security system. The company you choose I'm sure will have something though. Generally the company will contact the communications center and have a deputy dispatched to an alarm activation at your residence. As far as any emergency, 911 is your best option.
