Scenic drive from Bar Harbor, not to mention a bunch places to get great lobster rolls along the way. Good place to take the family. It's like a time machine back to 1910. Electric car charger outside.

This was absolutely a great stop and worth the drive. We found this museum listed in a local paper and decided to make it part of our day and so happy we did! The collection was incredible and interesting to see and learn about all the older cars. If you like cars and history, definitely make it a point to stop in.

Much better than expected! I've seen bigger museums...but this museum has really pinpointed the more impressive specimens that stand out. Good amount of information for each one. Price is reasonable for the quality you get to see. I am also very appreciative that they have several electric car chargers in their parking lot. Worth a visit. Plan on 45 minutes to an hour.

A few weeks ahead of our visit I sent an email to see if we could get a closer look at one of their cars I had a special interest in, the curator responded within minutes and was very accommodating. The collection includes some very rare early Fords including a Model K as well as a National Underslung and Pierce Arrow. All the staff we spoke with were very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum shop had a nice selection of shirts, hats, etc. The day we were there noted author and car collector Tom Cotter was giving a presentation and displayed his Cunningham automobile. All in all one of the best car museums on the east coast.
