Because of Covid, a lot of tourist related businesses were closed. This is a big let down when you want to explore a new place. The train station/visitors center was very accessible, and the staff were awesome. When the pandemic clears, we will definitely travel back to Brunswick to do some exploring. All in all, it looks like an interesting town.

I didn’t ride a train or anything but I visited it and it was a nice place.

Parking is terrible here. The lot reserved for train parking holds about 30 cars. I arrived at 6:40 for a 7:30 train and it was completely full. At that point you are expected to drive around side streets looking for a spot without a sign that says no Train parking. Noble street offers the closest side street parking but even that was filled up. Next time I'll just drive the extra 15 minutes to portland and pay $4 for my spot (i think the ticket costs less too) without the stress of spot hunting which for me ate up 15 minutes. They need to get the amtrak to Bangor.. im not sure why this station exists now that Ive experienced it.

Not only is the staff friendly, they are k owledeable and able to steer you to new and up and coming places. I went to the new brew and beer tasting at Moderation because of other people conversing at this station.

There's a long-term parking lot for the train station across the street, right near the feed store. Pay at kiosk, $2/day.
Not as of Sunday, 10 Apr 2022.
There is plenty of parking at the Brunswick station if you plan to leave your car for a trip. I was just there this past weekend.
There is a wheelchair access ramp directly outside the visitor office that leads up to the platform.
The visitor center is a hit or miss as the center is run by volunteers. The ticket machine does not do cash so the best way to get a ticket is do download the amtrak app and just buy the ticket thru your phone :)
If your taking a train it's about 2 hrs
Yes, Stella!
Yes it's like 2 dollars a day parking across the parking lot at brooks feed and farm
Probably need to go to North Station.
The train departs exactly at the time on the ticket, if you're catching the breeze to Portland you should definitely show up 10 or 15 minutes before departure.
Yes
There is paid parking nearby. It used to be free.
About an hour if you are heading east on 1.
