This is an excellent store that has helped me get hard to find consoles. I read the 1 star reviews and all of them seemed ridiculous because in any store you don't open a console and expect any sort of refund. That's their job. The broken bin is helpful for people who need parts for other systems or who want to fix them for fun. And they offer to fix consoles if you bring them back with problems. Also most video game stores don't give cash refunds, especially local shops. Gamestop probably only does because they receive so much faulty merchandise. And that's the other thing. Gamestop may be cheaper however their work isn't the best quality. If you want something that works with good quality, come to gamezone in auburn.

My husband and I have been loyal customers since the day they opened. We actually swore off game stop because we get treated so much better at game zone. I have pre ordered, purchased used and new, and sold items to game zone and every time was a pleasant and fair experience. The vintage stock is far beyond any other place in the state and very fairly priced! Definitely recommend.

This shop is INCREDIBLE and a true gem in the Lewiston/Auburn area. So many strong points to this store: They gave very fair trade-in value They have inventory you won't find anywhere else in the area, including some amazing retro consoles, rare games from every generation of consoles, complete-in-box games, and an excellent array of accessories The prices are extremely reasonable - I got a Gamecube game I was looking for at below eBay/Amazon prices Please support this local business! Game Zone is the kind of place I really want to see stick around for a while!

What is the point of selling broken games and items? They have a dedicated 'busted bin' that they keep broken items in to sell. PS1s that don't close, games that don't save... Ataris that cant even power on and they want 40 bucks for? Either fix it to working spec and sell it or put something else in its place. I'm surprised this place even makes money when all they have is garbage on their shelves.
