A few years back I ordered two Lazy Boy recliners. Shortly after the warranty expired one of the chairs would not recline properly on the foot rest. I was told I can bring the chair in for repair and it would cost $80.00. This was during the colder, icy season here in Maine and I am handicapped with problems with my back, hip and knee but I managed to drive the 1.5 hours to Tuff Bear. I was told that the fabric would have to be removed and that it was a big process. Tuffy Bear also said they would call me when it was done. I never received a call after months. Then, one day I receive a call from Andy the service manager saying my chair was there for 2.5 months and it is ready for P/U. He said the lady in front called and left a message. Now.... I have a private line, an answering machine and voice mail with Spectrum, so the call would have came through. Very rude office person and did not care about whether she called or not. I believe she misdialed an got a different number than mine. The fabrics on both chairs are defective and LazyBoy is not the same company as it was in the past. To make things even worse the other Lazy chair had the same problem a month later. I flipped the chair over and it needed a small bolt, washer and nut that I had in my garage...(if I did not have in garage it would have cost 42 cents at Viking Lumber) and I repaired the chair in less than 5 minutes. Not too bad for a disabled veteran. It makes me wonder if LazyBoy knew of this problem since it happened on both chairs. Shame on Tuffy Bear to mislead and take me for $80.00. BEWARE of TUFFY BEAR FURNITURE and LAZY BOY!!!!

Bought a large and heavy sectional not even a year ago it keeps coming apart! I have a warranty on it to fix and also clean any spots of stains called today guy was completely ignorant making it sound like it’s MY fault the couch is coming apart? Also when you sold me it you did say there was a cleaning service to clean it….. woman on the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about…. Time to find my paperwork!

Awesome 😎 the owner, Shawn, is truly awesome! We had issues with our leather couches and he went above and beyond (to say the least) to make things right and make sure we were happy! Absolutely recommend! Their customer service is unsurpassed; a rarity anymore!

Great place to to shop for your furniture! Their prices are better than anywhere we looked. The store is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery drivers were polite and attentive to detail. We are very happy with the quality and prices. Next time we need furniture we are definitely going to Tuffy Bear.
