The Residence Inn Bethesda is very poor. I have been here for a month: - The internet is EXTREMELY slow, and that is WITH the premium internent I get by being a gold member. It is routinely 1-2mbps every night. Unacceptable. - The breakfast is all packaged food and little variety. Nothing fresh at all. On busy days, they run out of nearly half the food. The breakfast staff is extremely nice though! - One of two main elevators has been broken for my entire stay. Reading the reviews, this happens all the time - why haven't the fixed this if it is a recurring problem??? Get a new elevator. - The cleaning service is not daily. It should be. - They need an additional valet during peak hours in the mornings/evenings. Most of the valets are awesome and are working hard. Just think they probably need some help. What's good: - The staff is nice and helpful - The location is good

Very nice and clean. Full kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, garbage disposal, and large shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in bathroom. All the amenities of a home away from home for a short term. No free parking for residence. Steep at $27 over night. Staying a few days so a bit pricey to me. There was a stale odor on entering room. Staff very accommodating and friendly.

A great hotel located in a perfect area. I love the rooms as they are large and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and the staff has been top notch. Would absolutely recommend this location.

Staff is really great. They're professional, friendly, and attentive. I'm here for 3 weeks. Breakfast area is very clean, descent choice of foods, plenty of sitting space. Nice room with separate bedroom. Location is on Wisconsin not quite .25 mile from Bethesda center. Metro almost across the street. Very happy with stay.

We booked here specifically because of the pool, which they said opened on memorial day (we called to verify when we booked). But when we arrived (after memorial day) it was empty and nowhere close to open. The guy at the front desk said something about pipes and that it would likely be open on Friday. Friday came and the pool was in the same state. I guess they figured we weren't staying through the weekend. The pool is thin but long - enough for laps and bigger than most residential inground pools. So if you're booking for the same night and your call to verify the pool is open you'll probably be happy with it. But there's no way I'd book in advance expecting the pool to be open.
Public parking is metered; there is hotel valet parking in their garage but public garage is free after 530p weekdays and free all day and nighy Sat and sun
