Best Campground I've stayed at. Best fishing in VA! Owners are third generation family and know how to accommodate for kids to the elderly. Thanks Ed Allen's!

Large, well maintained RV Park with long term and short term visitors. Pool area is new. Remote Laundry room and public bath area could use a bit of TLC. Some sites aren't quite level, but manageable. Lots of trees and shade. Plenty of amenities. Weekend visitors get a little loud. I would stay there again. Convient to shopping and restaurants on US60 and beyond.
The Eylers
Spent a very hot weekend in July. Thankfully camping spots offer lots of shade. This campground is a lot quieter then others we have visited this summer, more mature campers and less children (or at least by us). Having 4 kids with us, this was not ideal. Seems to be more seasonal campers and some near us cursed at one of our sons, acting like they owned the place. Staff is friendly. Cabins looked cute. Pool was beautifully landscaped. View of the lake was great. Two ponds to fish in. Bath house & wash area were very well kept. Close drive to Williamsburg. They had a nice little concert Saturday night & I understand they do activities each weekend.

Compared to most places this is a gem. The staff is amazing and the service and amenities are beyond expectations. As far as campgrounds go this is the place you want to be near the peninsula. The bathrooms could use improvement but I still give five stars because everywhere else is way over priced.

Yes, and they have catch and release bass pond also
The swimming pool is the only swimming area. The Chickahominy is not swimming friendly. The pool is new. It was built last year.
Hi Peggy. So sorry that I’m just now seeing this. I’ve already answered this question for you but wanted to thank you for camping with us this weekend.
Yes
I'm not sure, but they have a Facebook page that you can visit ask questions like these
Yes. Some of them are seasonals and others are at the storage.
It looks like it's heading more west.
