I cannot say enough good things about Inghram’s SitnStay! The BEST decision we ever made for our deaf dog’s training. I was recommended here to train my deaf dog, Beethoven, who was having aggression and major resource guarding issues. I was initially skeptical after reading some negative reviews. But I spoke to their Master trainer, Clark, and I felt his passion and knowledge come through. I decided to trust the recommendations I had been given and boy am I glad I did! Inghram’s SitnStay will not just overload your dog with treats to where they only listen when you have a treat. They will teach your dog to have innate manners; not use bribery for good behavior. They work through dog socialization and psychology to ensure what your dog is learning is grasped in “his/her” social language. Neither the academy or your dog can do it alone. You have to do your homework and do your part in the training process as well. Clark and his team gave my dog confidence that was stripped of him in his early life by bad humans. They taught him how to walk confidently and learn to trust humans. I didn’t think it was possible but they removed my dogs food aggression!!! It was unbelievable. They teach with a balance of discipline and care. The biggest sign for me on how my dog is treated is his trust, happiness, and love for each person at SitnStay. He comes home happy and loves being there. Forget human reviews. Trust how your dog responds! This place is likely the best decision you can make for your dog. They train the human end and the dog end of the leash. We also had to put in our part and follow their instructions. Today, my husband and I look back and don’t even know where we would be, or where our dog would be for that matter, if it wasn’t for these trainers. We consider this team friends and part of our extended family now. We were also fortunate enough to have them train our dog for service for me. Below are some pictures of practice sessions at TPA. SitnStay is the only trainer in the country allowed in airports to take service dogs to practice through real life scenarios, which is an incredible help for us both. Trust them and ultimately trust your dog; they will show you through their actions that this place is fun!

It's sad to see the bad reviews on here because most people will only focus on the negative. But see for yourself. They are not scared to answer the tough questions and provide answers to some of these crazy people's reviews. There is a reason Clarke has had success training dogs for 40 years. He knows what he is doing. My parents took their dog here and had great success and I have been going here for a little under 3 years with my dog. I can walk off leash with my dog, he comes when he is called, and is the most well-behaved dog anywhere I go. He is not scared, nor was he scared into behaving. He was trained properly and SNS taught me how to communicate with my dog so he does what I need him to do and he fulfills his mission in life of pleasing his owner. My dog is the spunkiest little guy. I get compliments and people are amazed at how well mannered he is.

You only hear bad things about places never or rarely the good things. Last night was a fantastic display of what Ingham"s Sit-n-Stay are really like. During a one hour training session last nigth(Dec 20. 2017)for intermediate and higher levels of trained dogs one of the handlers with a disability had an epileptic event. She fell down and started convulsing she hit two dogs in her fall the dogs did not move or show any signs of distress. The trainers immediately jumped in to provide assistance. One rendered medical assitance to the young woman. Keith was calm and knew what to do to keeping the woman calm and as safe as possible. 911 was called immediately. The main trainer and her assitant moved all the other dogs and thier handlers out of the area. All the trainers, handlers and dogs remained calm and under control. Not one dog barked it was incredibly well handled. The ambulance came quikly and assessed the situation. The head trainer knew the parents and lived close she sent someone to get them and they arrived before the ambulance and where there to talk to the ambulamce medical personnel. It as a potentially dangerous situation handled with great professionalism and compassion. The pictures where taken last Saturday in a simalar training sessions.

What’s the explanation of the video going around of the dogs being abused and neglected under the care of the employees here?

Good morning, The video you are seeing was staged over 2 years ago by PETA. We were just as appalled as everyone when we first saw it. We hired a private investigator to investigate our company and invited animal services out. Nothing was found. The PETA informant who staged the video is currently being sued by Petsmart for staging cruelty for hamsters, gerbils, and parakeets. The video does not represent our company or what we do.  Thank you for your concern, Inghram's Sit N Stay Dog Academy
