The people who own and run Rockwood Community are very genuine and nice. They truly care about improving their community and giving others the opportunity to move up in this world and improve their life’s. I loved that I was able to come and help out this incredible place. It truly hits home to me because I can relate and wish my family could have had an opportunity that this place provides when I was younger. I’m truly grateful that there is something like this to help out those in need.

Worked at Rockwood CDC today helping clean up the premises and expand their kitchen to work at a higher capacity. They do amazing work there, caring for the community and aiding those who need assistance getting on their feet.

I’ve been served and have served at the Rockwood Community Center over the past few years with a group named Cru. During those times I have been served amazing food from their professional kitchen, have been able to hear about how they are reaching one of the poorest and most diverse communities in Oregon, and have also had the chance to serve them by helping in cleaning in and around their building. The Rockwood Community Center is truly doing everything it can to reach out and address the needs of the community. I am amazed at their commitment and all the growth I’ve seen in this organization over the past few years!

These people care deeply for the community and want to see the lives of those in Rockwood thrive! We went to volunteer the and heard all the amazing programs they have and want to start to improve Rockwood. The staff are all incredibly friendly and caring. If you live near or in Rockwood you should definitely stop by!
