I LOVE Nick & Jakes...I come in EVERY TIME I'm in KC..it NEVER disappoints...food is ALWAYS fantastic as is the service. Took my sister there today..my only complaint is that they don't have a location in Wichita..COME ON GUYS! I'M telling you it would do absolutely fantastic! I can even help you out with location!

Waitress food was good and excellent. My Porterhouse pork steak with glaze was great. I wanted my hubby meal. He got the pastrami Burger. Yummm top it off with Double Chocolate Cake.

We hadn’t been here for some time but decided to give it another try. Frankly, it always seemed too busy for a quick dinner. I was interested in purchasing a gift card & they offered a little extra incentive to dine in and purchase a card. I’m glad we stopped in and had a nice relaxing late lunch. I really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and will certainly be back. My wife really liked the turkey reuben also.

It almost feels like I stepped back into the 90s. The ambiance in this place is a little strange in my opinion. The haphazard dessert tray blew me away! I have only seen this in movies and I could not believe my eyes that here is was in real life! It did not entice a desire to have dessert. In fact, it turned me away from having dessert. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. If you want good ranch dressing and French fries this would be your place. The fries aren’t special, but the ranch seems to be made at the location. This isn’t a destination for me, but I wouldn’t say no if someone else suggested it.

Dividers between booths in dining room. Have watched them disinfect a table after guests leave. All employees are wearing masks. They are completing safety standards better than most.
We have not been able to bring our buffet back with the current environment. We are offering plated breakfast and lunch items on Sunday mornings and still have our bloody mary and mimosa specials!

I think the Nick and Jake’s “On Main” is the only location that would fit 60 people
I believe the buffet is on Sunday mornings.. Look at the website it will tell you for sure.. Food was great..
