The EUG SSA office doesn’t: Answer phones. Make appointments, unless they are 60 days out. If you mail ANY documentation to them send it certified or registered mail, otherwise there is a significant risk they will misplace it. The employees don’t care a whit, neither does their supervisor. I also encourage everyone who has had issues with this office to file a complaint. I’m doubtful anyone will take action but it’s literally the only thing you can do.

Called and was on hold for 48 minutes still haven't received a letter of how much I owe social security and that was over a month ago that I asked for this letter to be honest this is getting really ridiculous guess I'll be sending a payment on the 11th when I get back from my vacation sad that they won't give me any information

DO NOT CALL HERE! Call Albany's Social Security office instead. Was only on hold for not even 20 minutes before I was talking with someone. Needed to change SSC after marriage for my wife. Called at 9:02 in the morning and was hung up on after 20 minutes. At the time of writing this we have been on hold for almost 4 hours. This is unacceptable for a government agency that works on such important documents. Because we can't file taxes properly without it. Edit: it is now past 4 pm and I was on hold the entire time. This is outrageous, I am going to try the Albany social security branch since they have better Google reviews, will update.

I tried getting my name changed after marriage in September 2020 and was told to send in Originals of documents, which I did. I took them to the post office and sent it by Registered mail. Weeks later I got a letter saying they had received my documents and they were sent back! (Thank Goodness) since they seem to have lost the copies of my documents, which is scary in a Federal Government agency. I received another letter stating they never got my documentation and needed it!!! Oh please, I tried calling the Supervisor to whom I mailed them directly to, per info from Jerry who sent me the original correspondence. I was treated rudely and said she never got the mail and didn’t know anything about it. I asked for an appointment to bring in the originals again but she would not give me one. I told her I didn’t want to pay for registration again, since they lost my paperwork after copying them. I just got off the phone with my Dr’s and insurance company and the lady I spoke to said she hasn’t been able to get her married name on her Social Security either. I see Eugene, Oregon SS only has a rating of 2 1/2 stars ⭐️ I fully understand why. I will try calling again today and see if I can get help. After all of my communications with them last time; being soooo frustrated I had given up until now, more than a year later!!! Wish me luck. I just dread this. It should NOT be this way. I kept my registration card (green) and all correspondence as proof.

Yes you can
How do I make an appointment time t for eugene or Salem? Web link? Please send.
No, this a scam!
It depends. Is the disability permanent and does it prevent all full time work? She has to apply for SSDI then SSA will review her medical records and give you a decision which can be appealed. This process takes years unless the diagnosis is either a terminal disease or something like serious mental illness, loss of limbs, paralysis, blindness, deafness, something along those lines or sometimes a hospitalization, chronic pain, heart problems...a nything that is severe and well documented might get her a higher benefit if big if ... IF she paid the full employment taxes in the first place.
Ticket to work
Yes thet are
You have to get a number and see one of the clerks.
Sign up for a fax number for the Eugene Oregon SSA office?
I'm getting a installment on my back pay can I barrow on it as its due this month ???
You will need current identification to show proof of who you are, acceptable proof of ID can be found at the social security administration page online
The Eugene office is not open except for Phone & snail mail, I would suggest you mail the inquiry to the local office, I had acknowledgement of mailed forms within 1 week this month.
Call ss office and make an appointment
Office is closed for covid you have to make an appointment there only doing certain appointments there website handles most other things
Not open. Have to do everything by mail. Send to Oakway
I believe you can if you have proper identification.
No, you continue to pay your part B premium, unless you can qualify for a Medicaid program that pays it for you.
You need a hard copy.
You would have to call them and find out or go there. I wouldn't post any personal information online
Why do you have to do all the leg work.
4 - 6 months sometimes with in the next week by the first part of the next month
I think to 4

I'm sorry, they don't answer their phones unless you have a direct line to your worker
I'm really not sure
Report it to social security it could be a scam !
I when yesterda. I don't see the you know where is located.. sorry
Yes but last i checked the waiting list was 23 days out. If you go in takes about 45 minutes.
You could do it online or over the phone or in person
Good luck! You won't get through. The best bet is go in abbys take a number unless you have a direct number to your worker
Don't know went in person
Depends on what it's for. Just questions or a doc sec card....No. call the 1800 number to ask....or go in and see how busy it is.
I believe that it will be reverted to the main government account til you get a new account or a check might be drafted to you . Chief Rodney Lee Swiftfoot Augustava Retzman . A'ho.
Good question. I am a payee 4 my brother & they are frequently changing his benefit. I have gone through hell & several times I myself paid his rent. He gets the minimum. Their COLA is a total joke
No. Nothing expired can be used as a proof of identity. Also the temporary (paper) state ID or driver's license will not work. The plastic card must be used.
Closes at 12:00 noon today
No they ar ed not closed
Monday thru Friday
Just go to the social security office walk in then give them new address
If you go in its can be a quite a wait in line or you can go to the SS website and do it online
The Eugene Social Security office is open 9am - 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 9am - 12pm on Wednesdays. They are closed on weekends and federal holidays.
They will mail it to you but give you a receipt showing you applied for one and you should recieve it in a week or 2
Last I heard they deposit it a business day before. So look at your account on Friday.
Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri 9-4 Wens 9-12
If you do not want to apply on line, yes. You can make the appointment at the 1-800 number or come in to the office to make one. If you have a bunch of questions I recomend going into the office.
Two things, check on with the Credit company's Exporian, Equidax and transfer union. Let them know you may be a victim of ID theft. Also come in to the Soc Sec office and lock your account for on line transactions. No one can do anything on line for you.
No, you can only make appointments through the 1-800 number or at the SSA offices. They only make apointments for you if you are filing for benifits. Everything else is a walkin service.
No they will see you up until about 5 min before they close
There is no limit on what you earn at your age. Yes, those earnings will count towards raising your SS benefits.
Yes They will have to Report Address Change, and that Following Month their amount will Change. I get SSI I live in Oregon. I Moved to California Yuba City They Uped my SSI by $200 Due to I was told they didn't have a Food stamp Program so that Extra $200 was for Food Cost.
If your Dad is not companent to make that decision you will have to get a court order.
