Comfort Inn Greenville I-65

We take a family vacation every year to Texas. Greenville is the halfway point from Noth Carolina, so we stay one night on our way in and one night on our way home. There are 12 of us, so I book three rooms each stay. We chose this hotel on our way back this year because there pool was open, so the kids could swim. My daughters and their families got there 5 hours before their dad and I and the person at check in would not let them check in without me being there. They are adults and one of them is 8 1/2 months pregnant. I called the hotel to give them permission to use the card on file, so they could check in and they refused. I explained everything and she still refused. I asked for her supervisor and she said she wouldn't be there until Tuesday. I continued to ask to speak to someone above her and she refused. I told her I was going to post this review and she said I threatened her. That is not a threat it was a promise. I didn't threaten this woman in any way. I told her that if I tried cancelling or didn't show up they would charge the card. And she said she would cancel my reservations and did. Worst customer service I have ever received at a hotel and I have traveled all over the United States taking my girls to gymnastic competitions and softball tournaments. As long as this woman is employed, I will never stay there again. My daughters were able to pay for their rooms, but that is not the point. What if they didn't have the money and needed to get out of the heat. Was my 8 1/2 month pregnant daughter suposed to sit out in a car with six children 5 and under for 5 1/2 hours in 100 degree heat until we could get there.

Danielle was such a great help! She said it was her first night by herself but I couldn't tell. She was professional, knowledgeable and full of smiles! She treated me like family. The hotel itself is wonderful and every bit as good as any Holiday Inn or La Quinta I've been too. Thanks Danielle!

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, comfortable. We pulled off the highway late at night after driving all day so I was thankful for the availability at this nice new feeling hotel. We liked being able to walk next door to the Taco Bell. Breakfast was just okay!! The scrambled eggs are not very good, but the sausage & boiled eggs were yummy!

Positive: The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was enormous! If this is what all Comfort Inns are like, we have made a permanent hotel chain change.
