Room is kept nice and clean, the staff will take care of any needs. Mexican restaurant in front and store also. Outside of building may look a little dated but room is nice. Use Choice points for better price

I arrived late in the night tired and exhausted. The lady behind the counter very nice and pleasant. I was in awe when I had my choice of a non smoking room verses a smoking room. Being a smoker let’s just say that adds to the relaxation. The room was clean The only issue I had was COCKROACHES. I hate cockroaches. As soon as I saw evidence of live bugs I took my belongings back out the car. Last thing I wanted was to bring them things home.

We were comfortable and we slept well. My only complaints are that a used bar of soap was left in the shower. I always bring disinfectent and I sprayed the entire shower, toilet and floor. The comforters had holes, but I usually don't use them because I know that comforters are not changed as often as sheets. We didn't receive wash cloths and when asked for wash cloths we were told we had enough, and when we explained we didn't, she told us she would bring more, but never did. I had to go to the office and request more wash cloths. The front desk person on duty was friendly and made sure I had enough towels and was cloths for my family.

Positive: this was a great value. I was looking for an inexpensive place to overnight on way to New Orleans. So went with low price. But the place was way nicer than I expected for the star level. AND the breakfast was a HOT breakfast and really good!! Negative: Like every place it seemed a little understaffed at the moment. Which meant that the breakfast bar was out of several things and they were not quick to replenish. But betting this is a short-term problem and there was still stuff to eat.
