Great starting pointing if you come by rideshare, otherwise parking could be an issue on weekends. Lots of hiking options with different trails but be aware of bicycle riders.

Good trails multiple choices for loops and the views are incredible

Numerous trails of varying difficulty give hikers great views of the Pacific and the canyon. There are bathrooms, a Ranger station (with very helpful Rangers!), and access to the beach. Wear good shoes and pack some water.

I did the easy one hour trail which I would rate a medium difficulty trail. Especially the Poles trail is pretty steep. I really liked the trail. It has some great ocean views and yellow mustard flowers are scattered here and there in the entire valley. I also happened to catch a glimpse of a rattlesnake on the trail. There are multiple parking spots so make sure you remember where you parked. Parking is $5 per hour or $15 for one day.

The is a fee to park $15 last year. Plenty of parking (2 lots )park in the back where the trail starts. There are 2 ranger stations and a visitors center. The trail can be easy if you choose or hard if you're a serious hiker. You'll love it!
