I have shopped Ross stores across this country. The best one is in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The Gainesville location is the worst disappointment in a Ross I've ever seen. Very dirty, merchandise scattered on the floor literally blocking aisles. Prices were too high for the poor quality of furniture. There were empty drink bottles/Red Bull cans in several areas of the store. The place was a toxic health hazard. The only reason I gave it a star was for the beautiful, courteous cashier, who obviously deserves better.

This place has gone downhill over the years... couldn't even find a standard pair of khakis. They choose expensive brands to carry and the cost gets passed to us.

I was at Ross in Gainesville Ga,I have a blind / brain Injury/ Memory impaired son. We were getting him ready for his prom,He was so excited because his prom is Saturday April 30th.My boy friend took him into dressing room, Well as always he was having trouble getting him clothing on ,my boyfriend said you need to come help him,There wasn't anyone else in men's dressing room,I told the associate that I needed to go help my son,He smiled and told me no,Once again I explained to him the problem ,well needless to say,my son was denied my help,So anyone with a special needs child, Ross will not allow you to enter a dressing room to help your child, They lost a customer today, and I will find out who fights for people with special needs, and report Ross to them,

They have many different type of items for a responsible price. Clothes, shoes, handbags, makeup, perfumes, candy, coffee, shampoo, speciality soaps. Many great gift items too I would recommend Ross to anyone looking for a gift or something for yourself.
