We adopted our Labrador ( Stoney) from their facility in Menifee. These animals are well cared for by the staff. It was very well maintained for all of the dogs and cats. They answered all of our questions and concerns regarding adoption. You can fill out a application online to start the process. Here is a picture of our pup Stoney!

Believe everything you read on this page about these people. I just got rejected from adopting a dog because I am in my last year of law school and should "reach out after I finish my first year as a practicing attorney." They are discriminatory, rude, and couldn't care less about your love for animals. Don't waste your time on an application.

I adopted my adorable little ball of trouble about four years ago now. I contacted Labs and Friends looking to rescue one of their many available dogs. I filled out and submitted the application, thinking it was going to be weeks or months and at least one home visit before I heard back. Much to my surprise, they contacted me the very same day and asked me when I could come and see a couple of their available dogs. I went the very next day, found my Hailey, and brought her home. Yes, she's a former shelter dog, and has some issues (anxiety, mostly), but we love her dearly. I'm so happy that Labs and Friends gave her a chance instead of letting her get euthanized at the local shelter. Labs and Friends provided me with Hailey's recent vet records and were really helpful and accommodating. I even had a pre-scheduled weekend out of town about a week after I submitted the application (thinking it wouldn't be an issue since it was likely to be a while before I heard back). I told them that I wouldn't be able to adopt Hailey for about a week because of that trip, but they offered to babysit her for me for that next weekend if I would adopt her anyway. Of course I said yes to that. If you have room in your home and heart for one of their rescue pups, I highly recommend contacting them. Just a quick note: I see that some reviewers are complaining about being unfairly judged based on one thing or about not getting return calls. It could be a hit-or-miss thing, because they are volunteers. But I would recommend that you fill out the full application and send it in first, and see if you get a response. The application asked a number of really detailed questions that would save them a lot of time on the phone, and it shows you're serious about wanting and being able to care for a dog. If they like your answers to things, I would guess that you're going to have pretty good odds of being able to adopt. I'm not affiliated with the organization, but just as an observer, it seems like that's likely to help. If it doesn't work, hey, just pop over to your local shelter and I'm sure you can find dozens of dogs that are totally adoptable and in need of good homes. <3

Yes they open the whole week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I don't no if they might have one here. But I strongly suggest that you call them at the number they have here, go to this facility in person if possible or check their website to see if they have some pictures of adoptable animals. I hope this helps. Good luck!
I am not sure how much adoptions cost here. Probably around $122.00. But I suggest that you go over there personally if possible call them at the number they have here or check their website for more information.
Perhaps they have the dog you are looking for. Call them at the number they have here, go over there personally and speak to someone from the reception area or check their website to see if they have some photographs of adoptable animals. I hope these suggestions help. Good luck!
As far as I know, you must be at least 16 years of age to start volunteering at any of these institutions without having to go with a chaperone.
They open this facility the entire week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I will
