First off, who else serves boiled peanuts for an appetizer? Not any that I've seen. They have a great draft craft beer selection, and some unique cocktails. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was super good. They put a horseradish mayo on it that adds a nice flavor. The Mac n cheese bites are a MUST! The service was incredible. I sat at the bar, and Hunter took care of me. Really friendly and helpful guy. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

1st time in. Will be back very very soon. Burger was absolutely killer (Southern Charm Burger) and the potato salad was just as good. Atmosphere was great, service was great, bourbon selection was great. All around 5 stars!

Cole took great care of us at Spirits Tavern in Dahlonega. I got a Ginger Pineapple Sparkler to drink which was really good. It was tart, with just a bit of the heat that comes from real ginger. My wife and I split a Trash Pile as our appetizer. I love the name of that dish; they even have it spilling out of a miniature trash can onto the plate! It was really good: we described it as a deconstructed cheeseburger and fries. My entree was a patty melt with tater tots, and my wife ordered the Gooey Burger, also with tots (I'm sure I'm not alone in my opinion that tater tots are vastly superior to french fries, and Spirits' tots are top quality). Both entrees were delicious and large portions. We took more than half of her burger and a lot of tots with us to enjoy later. The atmosphere and decor at Spirits are also worth the trip; I'd say it's a healthy mix of quirky and just a little spooky. They have 2 unisex, single-person restrooms which are decorated differently (hence the "Choose your own adventure" sign), so a good piece of advice is to drink and/or eat a lot so you have to use the restroom twice during your visit and have a chance to check out both restrooms and the posters on the restroom hallway. Oh, and if you really dig the place, they sell shirts, hats, and car magnets with their logo. Definitely a place I would visit again.

My burger, the bearded goat, was absolutely delicious! My son had the gooey and he loved it as well! The fries were deliciously crispy! We ordered the Mac and Cheese balls, shrimp egg rolls and fried green tomatoes as appetizers... all were delicious, but the green tomatoes were AMAZING! This place is a must try! My son wants to go back for his birthday!
