I've always loved military surplus shops. Not this one. It's a dump. overcrowded cluttered and disorganized. They advertise themselves as a bargain center but they are so outrageously overpriced. It's like they think their Inventory is lined with gold, Like they have the rarest items that are available nowhere else on Earth. You'd be better off visiting the GI Joe army navy surplus store in El Cajon. That place has well organized Inventory, Spacious isles, It is well lit and the prices are not outrageous like the bargain center. only reason I gave him 3 stars this staff is very helpful and friendly

The owner helped us look for what we wanted, very helpful. Found a good pair of boots here for a fair price. Big store with lots of stuff, definitely worth checking out if you're into surplus store stuff

I'm writing this review several months after my visit to Bargain Center, but this is actually a good thing. Why? Well, when I went there in October 2019, I spent quite a bit of money to purchase some items for my hobby of bushcraft and learning to tie advanced knots. I also purchased a quality sheathed knife, a wool sweater and a wool blanket. The point is - it is now almost 6 months later and all of it is still in perfect condition despite the fact that I've been using it all! Talk about quality. On top of that, the guys there at the shop helped me out from the moment I got there, showing me where everything was, and pointing out the minute differences between different items and the future results if I chose certain products. That's great customer service; giving me the facts and allowing me to make up my own mind. I'll be back to this place!
