Dr is very quick and knowledgeable. Wish she wasn't in such hurry, to answer few questions, though.

They took in my puppy the same day, I stopped by to see if when they can see him Dr. Fountain was very kinds and friendly and told me to bring him in the same day for his first examination and tests When I returned a few hours later Estrella help me out with all the paperwork and explained the plans they offer she was super helpful, knowledgeable and very nice I will highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital to anyone who’s looking for a Vet Extremely happy with their service.

My dog got suddenly very sick and I needed to take him to a vet immediately. I called around to dozens of vets and Banfield was the only one that would take him in on such short notice with what they call a drop off appointment. I was very hesitant to drop him off at a place I had never been before but the receptionist made me feel very comfortable with their warmth and patience(especially with my dozens of questions). They even let me leave his blanket with them so he could have a scent of home with him. The doctor was able to see him pretty quickly and her first guess on a diagnosis was correct! They conducted a pancreatitis test and sure enough they were correct! They put my dog on antibiotics, anti nausea, and prescription diet. He is now all better! I can't thank the staff at Banfield enough! Thanks for the excellent care for my pup and great customer service to me!

BEWARE‼‼‼ of this clinic and please don't take your pet here if you DO NOT want to lose a pet like me. We had a Wellness plan here, because my dog was considered a senior dog and needed more medical attention. On her last yearly check up, we've just been told as usual my dog's dry left eye, her flaky skin and needed tooth extraction. On Dec. 10 my dog started losing appetite so I was thinking maybe it was her tooth. And since their one tooth extraction will cost us $500 something, we decided to take her to TJ and will only cost $120 but we still kept her appointment here at Banfield the same day of the tooth extraction in TJ which was Dec. 15. The vet in Tj informed us that my dog's lymph node was swollen and we decided to get a biopsy. After my dog's tooth extraction she went straight to this clinic. They saw my dog and I even spoke to vet and said she only had an ear infection and of course her dry left eye. I paid for the visit and medicine for the ear infection. This clinic never mentioned about any swollen lymph nodes. After a week, we got the result and the vet in TJ said the biopsy came back malignant which coincides with the symptoms that my dog has been experiencing, not wanting to eat anymore and losing weight. Since this clinic never tested my dog correctly and disregarded the symptoms told, the cancer was not discovered soon enough. We didn't bother to call them anymore because aside from the cost, it's hard to trust them at this point. We took my pet again to the vet in TJ and they said my dog's cancer cell are all over my dog's system. My beloved dog just passed away last Sat. I'm deeply in pain right now and losing someone you really love is truly devastating. I trusted this clinic thinking they will take good care of my pet but instead they never caught what was really wrong with my pet. Don't ever ever take your dog here if you want to be with your pet for a long time. This clinic was only after your money. They really don't check your pet thoroughly. What a waste of money having a "Wellness" plan. We cancelled our plan with them and will never ever go back and take my other pet here again.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 18, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 18, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
