They were able to come and fix our "frozen" water shut off valve the same day I called. We had tried every option at our disposal, but the handyman came and had it turning in minutes. He was very kind and helpful, and his assistance was much appreciated.

I decided to choose Mr Handyman because I read amazing reviews on here. My experience was not great. Charley and Jesse were my service technicians and they both did a HORRIBLE job and I wasted my time over and over again. I have this space in my townhome and want to add two walls up so I can add a door to make it a room. On 4/22 & 4/23 Charley came to do the project and this is how it turned out. Horrible paint job, nails holes, uneven door, bubbles, etc. ( pictures for reference) I told Tana that I was not satisfied with the job and someone need come and fix it. She was nice enough to send Charley and Jesse on 5/9 they both came over and fix some details but the door stil have a cap and the door color still don’t match the door color at my house. I complained to Tana and she send Jesse over on 6/10 to fix the issues which you can see is still not resolved. When the door is closed it make weird noises when there’s slight air/ wind. They came over to “fix” the issues and wasted my day just waiting for them to finish their job. I am super disappointed and I would never recommend anyone to Mr handyman.

Jesse did a nice job on the trim. Jesse and Mike were polite. Scheduling was efficient and reminders were helpful. Your service is useful for straight forward jobs but I didn't feel comfortable with jobs that require more construction, high level industry knowledge. I had a window installed that was in a wall with no window. Jesse was unfamiliar with how to frame and window and I had to instruct him on the framing required. I was told that the job took longer because of the "extra framing." The framing I asked for is basic code and not extra by any measure. The process for bidding for the job was also not professional. I asked for a scope of work so I was clear on everything that would be done. I was told the scope was, "Good morning. We are installing a window where there is no window currently." Not really a scope of work. It was told the job could not be completed in the quoted time. This was an apprehension I had because of other reviews on Yelp. One worker did not complete the first day and therefore another 1/2 to 1 day more would be charged at a rate of $600 to $1000 more than bid. This is twice the cost. Again the bid was not done properly.

Mike replaced 4 light fixtures and removed the old ones very efficiently and in good time. He is friendly and pleasant. I enjoyed visiting with him and would gladly have him do most anything else I need fixed. Thanks for sending him. He is an asset to your company.
