Best vons in San Diego. Their produce is on point, and their inventory is spot on for every type of eater and it's clean and well thought out. Don't go late because self checkout will be closed and their will only be one cashier after 9:00 unless you want to wait

This is a solid grocery store. It’s got everything you need and has a decent sized parking lot. The downside is the lines take forever. They need to add more cashiers or self checkout lines. I recommend avoiding this place during busy shopping hours if you are in a hurry or buying alcohol. The food selections are good but they are sometimes lacking in meat and cheese departments. Overall great spot for your grocery and household needs.

I rarely go to this Vons even though it is very close to home. And it is mainly because it is a smaller store and the selection on some items is limited. And there have been several times I have gone into the store that in addition to the selection being limited because of store size, the shelves are empty and have not been stocked. There are two things though that I really do like with this particular store. The first is there sushi selection. The seafood is fresh and so very tasty. And the second is the floral department. They have many beautiful flowers and very lovely arrangements. I have bought flowers for clients here many times over the years. Whenever I need some thing in a hurry and selection is not important, or I need flowers or I am craving sushi, this is where I come!

Great place to buy. It's a good-sized supermarket, wide variety of foods, very clean and organized. They have cooked food, warm and ready for you to serve!! I love this. Their grilled chicken is really delicious!! So are their mashed potatoes and potato salad. Their avocados are a bit pricey, though.. 3 for $5. However, they're a bit larger than the regular ones. Their wide variety of flowers is something that I also like about this supermarket!!
