Great bay area. Clean, easy access. Plenty of parking. Lifeguard on duty. There was sand and water area then also grassy area with some shade.

The Park has a beach area with sand and a zone for swimmers protected by buoys. Since it's inside Mission Bay, it is protected from waves and wind. There is a big parking lot and parking is free. We used it to launch our kayak and SUP to explore the bay. I'd say it's also good to go swimming with kids.

Great place,usually not too crowded,and no waves,able to swim,and use a Kayak on calm water,also pretty clean,perfect to take a kayak for beginners.

Small, scenic beach area. Needs some eco love. Broken glass, and zip lock bag is what I found and put in trash. Water level extremely low. Nice anyway.

Yes Venture Park is beautiful, it has grassey areas trees for shade; bathrooms. There is a beautiful, lagoon for swimming. So if the weather is good you don't even need to rent a jumper. There are picnic tables. And a great vibe. Have fun and don't forget the sunblock. Feliz corpiño.
