Stayed at site 168, huge site great shaded spot. Newer trails are fantastic. Great for kids who like to bike or ride something. The west side of the park could use a playground. Fantasticly close to Winthrop making if feel like an outdoor hotel.

We love Pearrygin State Park and have been coming here for the last 15 years or so. The fishing was zero balance this time! Lots of fish jumping but all small ones. The trail around the lake was really great and enjoyed it.

This camp ground is well maintained with over 150 sites. A dedicated location for swim and many open fields. The lake itself is not that big so it could get very crowded in busy season. Come here in shoulder seasons if you want to enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding. A nice loop trail around for mountain biking and hiking

We did an impromptu camping trip here for 2 nights. There weren't too many others in the campground because it was early October. Part of the campground was closed but still plenty of sites available. The bathroom and showers were clean. Shower takes quarters, 3 for 3 minutes of water. My only complaint is that it took almost 30 seconds for the water to get warm enough to use (remember October, so it's cold) There is a trail right out of the campground but we didn't walk it because we were using this place as a basecamp for other hikes. We will definitely return here again.

There usually is the start of July... there was a couple of weeks ago when there. The fires are pretty devastating around there.. anything to protect it.
It's been restocked. Go fish.
