We’ve been coming here for over two years! We came here on our first few dates and now we celebrated our engagement here too! If you’re a foodie this is the place to be. Every dish we’ve gotten at MeLange has been a jaw dropper.Their head chef is a genius. She sometimes offers small bites from the kitchen, recipes she’s working on and they’re also always amazing. We’ve loved everything we’ve gotten in almost three years, including their whimsical cocktails! They have vegan and vegetarian options as well. Amazing food, amazing staff and such a cool concept having the restaurant and attached bar.

A small but unique restaurant with delicious food and caring staff. Menu is small but all that we ordered was prepared wonderfully and tasted great. We had the tuna tartare appetizer. Main meals were the salmon and the short ribs. The salmon was prepared. Perfect. Crispy on the outside and medium rare on the inside. My husband said his short ribs or rather his short rib was delicious! His dish was prepared with just one rib and I think he would have liked to have a little more meat. Probably would have given five stars if there were more than one short rib.

After ten years, I am still happy to say Melange is my favorite restaurant in all of Sarasota. They have something for everyone, from the adventurous to picky eaters. The presentation is always beautiful as well! Wonderful owners, lovely service, and incredible food every time. I look forward to seeing their tea room open in the future!

If you're looking to try some unconventional food, this is the place to go! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had the rabbit tacos, duck spring rolls and the beef short ribs. I had never had rabbit before and it was so tender and juicy. The texture was similar to like beef or pulled pork. The duck spring rolls were delicious and the beef short ribs just melted in your mouth. I also had the melange drink which was very balanced. I'd come back here on vacation just to go on this culinary journey again.
