Last night (5/11/22) I drive up to the Rx drive-thru and see an employee putting a sign on the drive-thru window stating that it's closed. She shakes her index finger to me as I drive up to imply that it's closed. I stop to ask questions about what's going on & she continues to walk past me in the opposite direction towards the store entrance? I'm now yelling trying to grab her attention to get more info & I hear her yell back, "I'm off the clock!" I then put my car in reverse to see what the hell is going on & if the drive-thru will be open tomorrow & I'm continued to be ignored until she finally yells at me to go inside to the pharmacy. Totally awestruck at this, I park & go inside to then find out by another employee that their merchant system is down & that I have to pay with cash. This is the 4th incident I've had at this Walgreens location where communication is severely poor and has resulted in a major waste of my time. Clearly, my purchasing power is better received and spent elsewhere. My family & I are never supporting any Walgreens moving forward. This was such an appalling experience. This discontent worker outside was just so hideous in her demeanor and response to me. I've never experienced this anywhere!
The Asian girl who checked me out was nasty after I made a return because they placed an item in the half priced easter section and I didn't want it. When she did the refund she said , "Happy Now"? . I told ya I was . Then she didn't give me back my $5 off coupon. I will not shop here again and I'm transferring my prescriptions to Publix. In addition I went in originally to pick up milk ...they had none . This place is a dump I'll never go there again.
Being Short Staffed is one thing but people are going without because this location Is Very difficult to get through to. They have literally closed without notice after lunch hours, depriving people of their meds and without consideration of their time and travel. I had an issue with 1/2 a bottle of missing Controlled medicine- I was treated like It was my fault or ill intention. 5 days later, I called again and it was confirmed to be their "mistake", no apology for my worry or inconvenience. On numerous occasions, I was given promised fill times but scripts never even put through. Hold times to speak to a human are usually less than acceptable even if short staffed along with the repetitive recordings of useless information on their automated system. Pharmacy is supposed to be open until 10:00 during week I checked twice online before going. Twice I have gone shortly after 9pm for prescriptions and it was closed. I signed up for text notifications months ago...I am still enrolled, but still do not receive- them even after making sure my account was set up properly. Simply Picking up my prescribed medication is like a game of Roulette. I am very patient and very aware of these difficult times but I dread having to get my medicine every month. I would change altogether, but Walgreens is only Pharmacy that sells the Brand that I have been on for over 10 years. I really think these issues should have been mostly resolved by this point. Gas is at 5$ a gallon. Its not far but when you have to make 3 special round-trips to get your needed medicine, it does become a bit unnerving.
The Walgreens on 26th and Cortez is the most horrific pharmacy I've ever been to my life and I've been going there for 5 years this this is recently happened the people that they have working there are horrendous the store itself is a rendezvous yeah it's office arrenda's customer service they get below below 0

Rx hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
