My experience with Hudson's was all positive!!! Faith (mgr) and Jen (sales associate)were awesome walking me throughout the store finding just the right bedroom furniture and bedroom chair and accessories for my guest bedroom. We did not want delivery, and picked up the furniture ourselves. It was a smooth process and they were both there to assist us on the day we arrived to get our furniture along with an awesome gentleman who helped us move the furniture into our truck. I give them an A+ for Service!! and the furniture was beautiful at a great price!! I will definitely go back to this store!!! Thank you for great service during challenging times!

Edit: Third time was the charm. Finally got a chair that was similar to one we saw in the showroom. Customer service was helpful getting us our keeper. Quick Version: Friendly sales person sold us a special order item, small hiccups but overall happy. Then ordered another piece of the set online and they delivered damaged goods. Will update as the process goes on. Long Version: After looking at a bunch of sofa stores we found a set of living room furniture we really liked. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. We came back to order the piece and instead of the same person helping us we were handed off to the "manager" to complete the transaction. The guy had some trouble placing the order since it was a special order (not a size they normally sell) and lied about the delivery price. We are still waiting on this piece to come since it had a long lead time. A week later we decided to also order the matching chair, which isn't a special order. This was delivered damaged and not in a box. It seems like they tried to pawn off a used or floor model item as a new piece. Currently in the return process but not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling. What kind of company tries to get rid of damaged furniture as a "new" piece.

Unethical … misinformation about service and insurance Friendly faces may greet you and tell you what you want to hear, but the second you step out the door, you’re on your own. I recently purchased furniture for several rooms in my family home. I specifically asked if they delivered to Southwest Florida. They assured me that even though it was out of their typical service area, it wouldn’t be a problem. That couldn’t be further from the truth! When the wrong furniture was delivered to us by mistake, they gave me a hassle about having to send someone else out to replace it as it was “out of their regular service area and would cost the store money”. This was for an error that they made. They instead wanted to hire a local handyman to retrofit the wrong furniture so it fit. When the replacement piece was delivered and it, too, was wrong, it took days for people to get back to me with a solution. I had to call the store manager multiple times to get a response. If someone tries to sell you an insurance plan, be skeptical. The salespeople use it as a way to close the deal so you feel like you have an option if the furniture doesn’t work for you, but it’s not true - they misrepresent it. On a positive, the quality of the furniture is good. Just don’t expect them to back up what they say and don’t expect great delivery service. They sub out delivery to an outside company. If you’re interested in buying furniture, I would recommend stores such as Baer’s and Matter Brothers - their customer service is much better and they are ethical. Furniture quality is excellent at both of these stores.

My salesperson, Cindy Williams, was wonderful. Very professional and knew a lot about the various companies and about the product. She also was good at checking current Hudson stock and to give me an estimate of delivery dates on the products we would need to order. I ended up purchasing a recliner and she was detail-oriented in writing up the invoice, getting the correct price, item number and delivery costs and return policies. I was very pleased and as it was my first visit to any Hudson’s store, I was surprised at the large inventory and quality! I’ll return again 👍😁
