Really nice convention center, very open and pretty. I particularly like the screens everywhere reporting what's currently happening and where, and the security folks (who I think are hotel employees?) are lovely and so helpful. Really the only downside is that the building complex is extremely large and I keep being surprised by how many minutes it takes to walk across it.

Awesome staff. Good location. Plus there is a FedEx right across the street with the most helpful staff.

The convention center is very nice and has great acoustics. We saw Wicked and it was amazing! Couple things I didn't care for, they only had 2 places to get drinks during intermission and one only had a single person working it. The lines were so long at both that most were not able to get anything before the next act started. That was irritating. Also, the seats are very small and not comfortable at all. These are not enough to keep me from returning, however.

Staff was vigilant with masks, vaccinations/covid tests, and were very nice. We sat in row J seats 6 and 7, good view however the seats aren't the most comfortable we've sat in. The actors for Anastasia were fantastic. Excited to come back for Wicked.

Hi there! Our next Comic Con is the Lilac City Comic Con on June 6th.
+1 for Davenport Tower parking. Covered, and the entrance is right across the street through the main lobby from the Performing Arts and Convention Centers.
We park on the streets close by, no parking fee.🤗. Sometimes in the lot!
Not that I've seen or heard of.
There is street side and some parking in front of the convention Center that is a first come, first serve basis. There are plenty of side street parking places as well that are metered.
I am not really sure , you might be able to call the Office.
Not to be self serving but I do work for an event planning company and it doesnt always require a ton of capital. With creative planning, experienced resources, and flexibility, a great event at that convention center is possible. We recently did an event there with a lean budget. The vendors and teams were aligned on the budget and we stuck to it and ultimately pulled off a great 3 day event. A planner who knows the venue and staff is a great start. If a planner is not an option, connect with the venue and outline what you're looking for. They will have all the information to help you build your event plan, space needs, and budget. I hope this helps...there is more to it but hopefully you can get rolling sooner rather than later! Best of luck.
I was here recently at the Bloomsday Trade show, and I noticed people were bringing their own water bottles. This, however was just this event, so I am given to deduce it depends on the event.
Parking for certain venues can be a challenge.
