Huckleberry Ale... Best beer I've ever had. Ever since college days at U of I I've been in love with this beer. Not heavy at all. Refreshing and has the aroma and after taste of huckleberry. Delicious! Passing through town I HAD to get some as I live 2 hours away and CANNOT find it here locally. Got a couple of growlers full as someone bought out all of their cans that day (understandable). I wish I had this on tap at home! As for the building.. small but welcoming. Had a tasting room vibe. Pretty sweet. 10/10.. would HIGHLY recommend.

Fun little microbrewery with exceptional service and great beer. We visited for the first time and we able to talk through the whole menu and each find flights to suit our tastes. I’d particularly recommend the Huckleberry ale or any of the barrel-aged choices. Lots of fun near downtown!

Sadly you only have a few more weeks to enjoy this tap room. They close on or about December 30 2017. While they will still be making fantastic beer. You will only be able to get at pint a restaurant or bar near you. Cheers River City!

Very good selection of craft brews, a bit limited in the quantity but they have an ample selection that should cover the palate range of the average craft beer connoisseur. The beer attendant (girl) was very good with descriptions of their beers and also very friendly and accommodating. Nice to feel welcome and she did a very nice job. The facility is nicely decorated with many familiar and unfamiliar sayings (quotes) that will leave you thinking. A nice touch to pass the time and see if you can find a favorite. The space is a good size and you should feel welcome here, local or tourist. It has a very warm and inviting feeling to the place, not pretentious at all.

Food is available from other establishments within a block radius. Any outside food is welcome. They also offer a number of ciders and hard seltzer. Dog friendly!
The brewery tap room has 11 of their own brews on and usually one collaboration brew with another local brewery and/or a cider.
