All the IPAs I tried were great, nicely balanced with good hoppy flavors characteristic of the hops they contained. Chris (and Dutch too) created a warm welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable suggestions on beer choices. Went back three times during our Spokane visit. Will visit again when we return. Heritage food next door catered to the brewery with fine smashburger as well.

Finding this brewery, and adjacent Heritage Kitchen restaurant, was the best part of my visit to Spokane! The brewery has great beer and the staff (Chris in particular) were awesomely friendly! Having food ordered from Heritage Kitchen delivered to the table was a double bonus. I’ll make a point of returning to Spokane just to visit Whistle Punk!

Housed within a historic building dating back to 1928, the exposed brick and stone walls with ornate ceiling tiles lends a cozy and intimate setting for Whistle Punk's customers. There are two sets of taps which will serve a good size crowd between their two spaces. Enjoy a $4.50 side pour Czech pilsner or select from their IPAs, stout or sour.

Nibs

Great vibes here. Staff are friendly and take the time to talk about all the different styles of beer they offer. It's a unique location, tucked behind Montvale and adjacent to Heritage. It's cool to be able to sit down below street level and people watch.
