Just happened to be working in the area and I was due for some lunch. Saw this place on my drive and figured let’s give it a shot. I definitely made the right choice because the food is amazing. Had a biscuit with an egg and gravy and something else I can’t remember what it was But it was delish. Everything on the menu looked really good. The cute girl behind the counter even gave me a free sweet biscuit because it was my first time there. I will be back for more.

After seeing this place for a while I had been wanting to try. We arrived around 1:30 PM in the afternoon. I ordered fried chicken with a waffle with a side of some type potatoes with peppers, onions and bacon. We waited for over 15 minutes for our food and when it was brought to the table only the chicken and waffle arrived with the chicken slightly warm placed over the waffle, which was cold and already getting soggy on the bottom. We were told they didn’t have the ingredients for the potatoes and asked if we’d like something else. We ordered the Mac and cheese. After some time another waitress came by our table to ask if we wanted another side explaining the potatoes were out. I said we already ordered a replacement side. She then said she was refunding us for the potatoes and the mac & cheese would be “on the house”. The mac & cheese came out about 10 minutes later but by that time we were finished with the chicken and waffle of which we only ate two pieces of since it was cold to begin with. And no, I never did receive the refund for the potatoes. Not a great first time experience. We’ll pass on this place!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Had a 40 minute drive to get here but I was going to be in the area so why not. Now for the food. The Farmer: Seriously delicious peppery fried chicken on a homemade super fresh biscuit with just the right amount of gravy so as not to sog the biscuit.....and the crunchy bacon w/cheddar cheese all on one saucer and the small side of grits was a 9.5 only because I like my grits a little thicker. The BamYoYo: Two delicious generous size chicken breasts, along with a perfectly fresh waffle and what my Wisconsin wife is surely real maple syrup. This can feed two, in fact I'm eating the leftovers right now!! This was a 10!! What keeps this from 5 Star you ask.....while the food was done and up in a timely manner, the coffee my wife ordered did not come until perhaps 2 to 3 minutes after, and we sat outside so she had to go back inside and wait for it. The Iced Tea although sweetened was just not sweet, maybe a fresh summer tea spritzer w/mint leaves or something would be very refreshing. All said, there is a very large shopping area here so when we pull through again, we WILL DEFINITELY be making this our breakfast spot!!

Yep, masks on until seated, employees always masked, and they have some outdoor seating as well if that's preferred.
