I chose to bring my dog here mostly based on the excellent reviews. I am looking for a new vet and I liked what I had read. I scheduled an exam and vaccinations, to get a feel for the care. I wasn’t happy with the vet, whose name I still don’t know. (Not the main vet) he didn’t introduce himself or greet me. He had very little interest in my dog, no conversation at all. The “exam” was nonexistent....I knew the free first exam wouldn’t be thorough, but he didn’t listen to her internal organs, or check her eyes, ears. Just said she had some plaque on her teeth. He thoroughly explained the importance of watching for vaccines reactions and to bring her back in if she had one. I would like to try again and see if I get a better idea about this clinic before I make a decision to keep searching for a new vet.

I love this place! I was looking for a vet for my dog so I asked around. After I received multiple recommendations for the Los Alamitos Animal Hospital, I decided I’d try it out. I am so pleased by the service, the amount of time, the explanation of services, the cost of them, the staff is helpful, organized, the vet is amazing and wonderful with my dog. She made my pet feel very safe and made me feel comfortable in trusting that my dog was in good hands. Most importantly, without costing me an arm and a leg, we solved what was wrong with my pooch. I won’t go anywhere else and highly recommend the los Alamitos hospital
